Kiryu’s cut jacquard features a fabric design that captures the play of light filtering through the trees and the beauty of nameless flowers.
Shiny, flat yarn is woven into the weft, then cut to create a three-dimensional, sparkling finish. The weft is made of cotton, and the warp is made of cupro. Cupro is a fiber created by chemically processing parts of cotton flowers that did not fully develop into cotton. It gives the fabric a lustrous, smooth texture. Made in Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture.
