LA ZABU VEST #BLACK [26-0035A]
LA ZABU VEST #BLACK [26-0035A]
■ Product Description
La zabu is a classic TOWAVASE product, stitched by hand in a Japanese workshop using Kyoto zabuton techniques. The fabric is made of light, warm velvet with a unique sheen and soft feel. The brooches are made by a glass bead manufacturer in India that maintains high quality. The length is long and the size is relaxed. It can be worn well with any item, such as pants, skirts, and dresses.
■ Kyoto cushion making techniques
The three-sided binding on the entire surface is in the shape of the character for "person" and is a feature of Kyoto zabuton cushions. It is also meant to show hospitality, to ensure that customers are not put on the wrong side of the cushion and offended. In addition, the ends of the strings are decorated with thread tassels called "sumifusa" (which are attached to the corners of zabuton cushions). The tassels are meant to ward off evil spirits, and are also used to pray that evil spirits will not enter the cushion.
■ Attention
The three-sided binding and square tassels are done by hand, so each one has a different look. Thread breaks, scratches, and small holes are inevitable, and there are also individual differences in how the jewels are attached. Please be careful not to snag or slip off. Color knots, neps, and long knots are characteristics of natural materials. Wrinkles add to the charm. Avoid wearing velvet in rainy weather, and handle with care as it has a delicate finish. Color variations and color variations within the parts inside the garment may occur depending on the wearer and the fabric used.
