■ Product Description
A dress featuring a structured tuck on the bodice of the last flower of the afternoon. The fabric is a paisley jacquard cotton material with a moderate firmness and a smooth texture that feels pleasant on the skin. The theme of this season is Art Nouveau, which is said to have influenced Arthur Rackham. The unique world depicted by his fantastical yet nightmarish touch is linked to the real world and the world of fairy tales by using paisley, which was also greatly influenced by Art Nouveau. The elegant curves of the paisley and the rhythm of the repeating patterns based on plants and flowers are believed to provide a sense of comfort to the human psyche. Woven with thread of the same color, it is not too conspicuous and can be incorporated subtly. This piece has a relaxed fit with wide shoulders, bust, and thigh width. The silhouette is beautifully constructed using only tucks, creating a trompe-l'œil design that looks as if an apron is layered on top. The structured bodice and gently flared skirt create a silhouette with contrast. The neckline is a collarless design. The back buttons are covered with the same fabric.
