Introducing our new brand , UNFIL .

UNFIL is a brand launched in 2017 by Saori Komatsu, who was a designer at the knitwear brand Irian Robe .
"Unfil" means "one thread" in French.
As the brand name suggests, UNFIL's clothing creation begins with imagining a single thread, inspired by the inherent appeal of the material.
Natural materials, which are carefully cultivated in their respective production areas and have been used for clothing since ancient times, have a variety of functions and regenerative abilities.
We develop knits and fabrics to bring out the inherent qualities of the materials, and offer high-quality everyday clothing that pursues comfort and silhouette through new ideas and the traditional techniques of our producers.

DOKODO is currently stocking items from the autumn/winter season, so the items in stock are mainly knitwear.

At DOKODO, we usually choose brands and items with this in mind.
Another important thing to consider when choosing clothes is whether or not they make you feel good.
Everyone has their own standards for what they consider to be a cute design or comfortable to wear.
I was choosing clothes to suggest such a style,
There was a time when I suddenly thought that there are more and more brands and clothes that have striking designs and colors for each piece.
At the same time, there was a time when I was worried that there were not enough high-quality everyday clothes that I could offer to my customers.
That's when I discovered this brand, "UNFIL."
The brand concept is, "We start by imagining a single thread, inspired by the inherent charm of the material. Natural materials, which are carefully cultivated in their respective production areas and have been used as clothing materials since ancient times, have various functions and regenerative powers."
This fit the criteria of "attention to materials" and "things that convey the makers' passion," and it piqued my interest even more.
As I get older, I tend to choose clothes with more attention to the texture and comfort of the material, and I feel like I'm wearing more "good things."
We wanted to offer more products that would make DOKODO customers feel the same way, so we decided to carry them.

When I saw the products for the first time at the exhibition, I thought that it's a brand that you can't tell just by looking at them, but you can understand how good they are once you touch and try them on.
The brand also has a wonderful use of color, with many feminine shades that make my heart leap just by looking at them.
We would be delighted if our regular customers as well as new customers would pick up the UNFIL brand.
