story
There is a family whose ancestors have lived in a building overgrown with plants for generations.
They live with plants.
Plants are family to them, and they surrender themselves to the timeline of plants.
Their ancestors used to hum to relax themselves, but it also had a positive effect on plants, so the humming eventually began as music to be played for the plants, which became flower songs.
When they feel down, they disguise themselves as plants and entrust themselves to them.
As time went on, the building became deserted.
Now, people visit the building to experience a distorted time as a mysterious building where plants play music.
This time we'll be talking about this mysterious plant family.

Season design explanation
For this collection, I designed clothes for a family of five (grandmother, father, mother, daughter, and son) who live with plants.
The designs are based on relaxing clothing for living with plants, but also incorporate elements of the work clothes (gardening clothes) they wear when tending to plants and the slightly more formal performance clothes they wear when performing Hanauta.

■ Product Description
Garden Instrumentalist Dress
The dresses that the daughter and grandmother wear when they perform for plants. They are loose-fitting so that they can be worn at home as well, and are easy to put on by simply putting them on and fastening the back buttons.

Flower map print
The protagonists are a family of plants that have been growing in their homes for generations, and they keep a diary of where the perennial plants are blooming. At the same time, underneath the house where the protagonists live, there are ants that have expanded their range over the course of decades. The print of the pattern records where the ants living underground are building their nests while observing the perennial plants growing above ground. In order to express the fact that the pigment pattern itself has been painted for generations, the old painted and faded parts and the newly painted and clean parts are printed in two separate plates. The base fabric is a canvas made of a blend of 55% linen and 45% cotton, and the artisans print it at a factory near Shibamata Taishakuten Temple.
