A heavy cotton double cloth material with napping brushed finish.
Napping brushing is a process that raises the surface fibers. This process gives the fabric a soft touch, warmth, and a unique appearance. It is said to have originated from wool woven for shepherds and hunters in the 1300s, where the wool was intentionally made into a pilled state from the start to hide scratches caused by catching on tree branches. Usually, this process is applied to wool, but here it is applied to cotton, making it a material easy for everyday use.
