story
There is a family whose ancestors have lived in a building overgrown with plants for generations.
They live with plants.
Plants are family to them, and they surrender themselves to the timeline of plants.
Their ancestors used to hum to relax themselves, but it also had a positive effect on plants, so the humming eventually began as music to be played for the plants, which became flower songs.
When they feel down, they disguise themselves as plants and find solace in them.
As time went on, the building became deserted.
Now, people visit the building to experience a distorted time as a mysterious building where plants play music.
This time we'll be talking about this mysterious plant family.

Season design explanation
For this collection, I designed clothes for a family of five (grandmother, father, mother, daughter, and son) who live with plants.
The designs are based on relaxing clothing for living with plants, but also incorporate elements of the work clothes (gardening clothes) they wear to care for plants and the slightly more formal performance clothes they wear when performing Hanauta.

These pants were originally pajamas, but were modified to become work pants with the addition of three-dimensional pockets, knee pads, crotch pads, and tapered hems.

Durable pajama cloth
The fabric was chosen with the image of the main character wearing pajamas that can also be worn as work clothes (gardening clothes), and is made of cotton-linen-horseback sun-washed fabric that has a texture similar to that of old European underwear. It uses a 20/1 cotton-linen blend yarn for the vertical and 30/1 cotton-linen blend for the horizontal, and a super-high density plain weave fabric that has been mercerized (a strong alkali is used to stabilize the dyeing of the material). It is dyed while still in its raw state (as woven, unprocessed) without any processing, giving it a wrinkled look. Therefore, it has a texture reminiscent of old European underwear. After dyeing, the fabric is spread out in the sun to dry, almost entirely by hand, to create wrinkles and unevenness.
