■ Product Description
The boater hat, said to have originated with British sailors. The Tanaka Hat Shop's boater hat, made to fit the shape of Japanese heads, fits snugly and has a timeless design for long-lasting use. With a natural feel and simple design, it pairs well not only with casual outfits like T-shirts and denim but also with styles like linen dresses. Comes with an inner tag made by Tanaka Hat Shop.

■ Raw materials
The material is "Mugiwara Sanada," made by braiding seven barley stalks into cords and weaving them into Sanada cords. First, each Sanada cord is handwoven, moistened with a spray, and sewn. Next, it is shaped, dried in the sun to evaporate moisture, and then decorated. This process of sewing → shaping → decorating is divided among three people to complete one hat.
