Product Details
■ Product Description
These arm covers mainly use wool yarn. In Fukui, where the designer was born and raised, arm covers were called "teboso," hence the name "boso." These short-length covers can be used as arm or leg covers, perfect as a pop of color in your outfit. Made of thick wool, they keep your hands and feet warm while allowing you to stay stylish in your own way. The design leaves the fingertips exposed, enabling smooth smartphone operation and other movements while wearing them.
■ Tamaki Niime and Banshu Ori
Banshu Ori is a yarn-dyed cotton fabric produced in the Kitaharima area of Hyogo Prefecture, with a long history dating back to the fourth year of the Kansei era. At Tamaki Niime, vintage looms used in Nishiwaki City during the 1960s to 1980s are employed to create Banshu Ori with a new interpretation of its 220-year tradition.
