What sets us apart at CIOTA is that we carry out all the steps in clothing manufacturing in-house, from selecting raw materials, designing fabrics, weaving fabrics, designing clothes, coming up with sewing specifications, and sewing. And we are thorough in our commitment to all the steps.

For example, all of our cotton fabrics are original and developed in-house.
The raw material is Suvin cotton, a precious, extra-long staple cotton that is grown only in southern India and accounts for only a small percentage of the world's cotton production.
All CIOTA cotton is made from Suvin cotton, which is our exclusive fabric.
Its luster is like silk and its softness to the touch is comparable to cashmere.

We produce a basic collection that makes the most of the materials, and sew the items in our own factory.

What is Supima Cotton?
It is a hybrid of Sujata cotton, native to India, and Sea Island cotton, grown in the Caribbean island nation of St. Vincent, and is named SUVIN after the initials of both cotton varieties.
It is classified as extra-long staple cotton, and because it has very long and thin fibers, it is possible to create yarn with little feathering and a smooth feel against the skin.
Another feature is that the grapes are hand-picked to maintain the highest quality.
*Only the weft thread of denim is made of Supima cotton.

■ Product Description
A denim jacket from CIOTA. Made from original 13.5oz Supima cotton denim, with attention paid to every step from thread selection to weaving the fabric. Post-production processing such as long wash and stone wash gives it a natural wrinkled look, a familiar feel to the fabric, and a natural vintage fade. The light blue color, like vintage denim, has a nice vertical fade, giving a light feel to any outfit. The regular ounce fabric has a firm thickness and texture, making it a denim you can wear for a lifetime.

This model is based on Levi's 557. It has a modern silhouette while keeping the authentic details. The adjusters on the left and right hems of the back allow you to adjust the silhouette in two stages. The tuck button has the name "CIOTA" printed on it.
