Sailing dress #Indigo [241301]

■ Product Description This dress is worn as a "travel prayer outfit" when touring the islands in search of trees. I imagined the dress the protagonist wears on a yacht while touring the islands. Based on the traditional attire worn by women on yachts, the dress has a tape loop similar to a sash that can be used to hold the sleeves in place and make it easy to move around in even though it is a dress, and the design includes an open collar so that the collar can be easily raised when it is windy.

Hand embroidery cloth
This time, I had the image of the main character embroidering and sashiko as an act of prayer. This fabric was woven with that sashiko image in mind. The thread is made from domestically spun double-ply cotton, and the navy blue part is indigo dyed. The sashiko pattern is woven using a dobby rapier loom. The stitch width is slightly changed to make it look like it was sashiko by hand. The different thicknesses of the threads mean that there is less contact with the skin, so I think the fabric feels cooler than you would imagine given its texture.
