You can fix your gaze anywhere you like, but I really struggled with where to focus.
Whether to get closer or move away... It's strange how just a slight change in position can completely change a penguin's expression.
It's been quite a while since I last went to a zoo or aquarium, but I remember that when I was observing hippos all day, a keeper took photos of them up close for me instead of just through the fence.
