It is said that it was inspired by a fish basket used to hold caught fish.
Although it is a rather indescribable shape, there are real fish baskets made from bamboo that come in a variety of shapes and are quite cute.
I don't plan on fishing, but I'll look for one that's a good size and maybe put some onions or potatoes in it.
What kind of things do you put in it?
