This season, I continued to create works based on the world depicted by illustrator Arthur Rackham. I expanded on the idea that the girls and children in his fairy tales, filled with innocent loveliness and innocence, could also have stories in which they grow up and become "adults" through various experiences and travel to various places, countries, and regions.
While retaining some of the imagery from last season, the collection uses textiles that express flowers and plants that abound in the world of fairy tales, such as paisley, characterized by its composition of vines and blooming flowers, a jacquard with a small floral pattern inspired by the words of Andersen, whose illustrations he has illustrated, and a Liberty print said to have been inspired by Alice's journey to Wonderland.
